Undoubtedly, one of the pinnacle moments of 2023 was the successful planning and execution of Group Travel Symposium (GTS) and the 2023 GTN Conference. Group Travel Symposium, was the first event of its kind in the travel industry as we fully chartered the AmaWaterways river cruise ship the AmaMora for five days dedicated to learning the ins and outs of selling group travel.

Following this triumph, the 2023 GTN Conference unfolded amidst the stunning backdrop of Mykonos, Greece. This was the first ever international conference location for GTN, marking an unforgettable gathering of our community.

A Decade of Excellence & Recognition

This year was more than just another milestone; it marked a decade of our unwavering commitment to exceptional service and innovation. Celebrating our 10-Year Anniversary Gala here in Mooresville, NC, was a poignant reminder of the incredible journey we've taken throughout the past decade. The Anniversary Gala was a tribute to the dedication, collaboration, and excellence that has defined GTN's growth and impact in the luxury travel space.

The recognition received throughout the year served as a testament to our team's dedication and hard work. Securing the #10 spot on the Charlotte Business Journal's esteemed Fast 50 list was an honor that underscored our growth and impact. Additionally, winning Host Partner of the year at the ASTA Global Convention and being named a National Account with Virtuoso. GTN was also one of the first host agencies to be named a Forbes Travel Guide- endorsed agency.

Unwavering Dedication to Education

One of the key reasons that Gifted Travel Network has established itself as the premier host agency for luxury travel advisors is our unwavering dedication to education and ongoing coaching through our professional development programs. This year, we welcomed over 30 new to the industry advisors to GTN. These advisors joined one of our four Travel MBA cohorts and are in the process of building the foundation to their travel business.

Additionally, GTN's Travel Business University (TBU) won a gold Travel Weekly Magellan Award for Overall Training Program. Remarkably, this marks the second consecutive year that GTN’s Travel Business University has won the gold award for Overall Training Program.

And it doesn't end there! This year we welcomed six new GTN staff members, making us a team of 30, and four new mentors for our TBU programs.

As we bid adieu to this remarkable year, we carry with us the memories of triumphs, growth, and shared successes. Looking ahead, we're fueled by the spirit of accomplishment and the desire to continue pushing boundaries, delivering excellence, and making a meaningful impact in not only within the GTN community, but the luxury travel industry as a whole.
