The last month at Gifted Travel Network has been nothing short of spectacular. After celebrating our 10-Year Anniversary Gala just last week, we're back with more thrilling news to share. Drum roll, please...
We won two Travel Weekly Magellan Awards!
First, in the category of Travel Advisor Organization, our professional development program, Travel Business University (TBU), has received the gold award for Overall Training program. Additionally, in the category of Travel Advisor Organization, our event Group Travel Symposium, has received the gold award for Marketing and Live Events.
Remarkably, this marks the second consecutive year that GTN’s Travel Business University has won the gold award for Overall Training Program. These accolades underscore our unwavering commitment to providing top-notch resources and support to our valued travel advisors.
One of the key reasons that Gifted Travel Network has established itself as the premier host agency for luxury travel advisors is our unwavering dedication to education and ongoing coaching through our professional development programs. In our ongoing quest to enhance TBU and ensure it remains the gold standard for travel advisor education, we are excited to introduce some exciting new additions and promotions within the team.
Kristin Matthews’ role has been elevated from Director of Professional Development to VP of Member Experience. This change has broadened her purview to include the delivery of all GTN member benefits, not just those aligned with a Travel Business University (TBU) program.
Amy Pearson-Jensen has been named the new Lead Mentor for Travel Business University. As a a former Travel MBA student, her deep industry knowledge and firsthand experience with our programs will be invaluable in guiding our members to success.
Kristin Eagle has been named the new Member Experience Manager, where she will continue to focus on enhancing the overall experience of our members.
Anna Harrison and Heather Parker are both new additions to our highly talented TBU Mentor Team. Their expertise and passion for travel advisors and the industry as a whole will further strengthen the support system available to our TBU students.
These awards and team updates are a testament to Gifted Travel Network's ongoing dedication to excellence and unwavering support for our travel advisors. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain committed to our mission, of cultivating success through travel entrepreneurship. We pride ourselves on empowering our members, ensuring our team is well-positioned to aid our members in their growth, wherever they are in their entrepreneurial journey.
